Honey Mustard Roasted Crostini

Thin slices of baguette brushed with olive oil and toasted until they snap, then spread with a honey and wholegrain mustard butter and topped with roasted chicken, rocket and a few slivers of red onion. The crostini go back in the oven briefly so the sweet-sharp glaze warms and melts into the bread. It's a lovely balance of sweet honey, tangy mustard and peppery leaves.

Four crostini come lined up on a narrow board, finished with cracked black pepper and an extra drizzle of honey-mustard glaze. They're a light, elegant starter or a good nibble with drinks. Unlike our wholegrain mustard crostini, these are sweeter and topped with roast chicken instead of ham and cheese.
