Tomato Basil Loaded Nachos

Tortilla chips layered with a chunky roasted tomato and basil sauce, then covered with melted mozzarella and cheddar and baked until the cheese pulls in long strands. Fresh cherry tomatoes, torn basil and a drizzle of balsamic glaze go on after the oven. It's an Italian-leaning take on nachos — tangy, herby and cheesy, with a fresh tomato sweetness running through every layer.

It's served in a shallow dish with a pot of soured cream and a little extra basil. It's ideal for sharing with friends over a cold drink. Of our loaded nachos, this one feels like a cross between nachos and a margherita pizza, swapping beans and jalapeños for tomato, basil and mozzarella.
